Our Research Initiatives

The plain community health consortium was founded…

as a collaborative network to bring together healthcare organizations, researchers, and practitioners who work with Plain communities, such as the Amish, Mennonites, and other Anabaptist groups. By working together and sharing knowledge and resources, we improve health outcomes through culturally respectful, accessible, and community-centered research.
