Becoming a Member Organization

In order to qualify for membership in the PCHC organizations must:

  • Provide clinical care to patients regardless of the ability to pay for the services.

  • Practice Genomic Medicine.

  • Serve primarily the Plain population.

  • Be designated as a non-profit, tax exempt organization under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or equivalent status in its country of incorporation if an organization is incorporated outside of the United States of America.

  • Be supported by and receive guidance from the Plain community that it serves.

  • Except for the founding members, new organizations shall be invited to join the association by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.

    Dues: Member organizations are required to pay an annual fee of $500 which is due by January 31st of each year. If an organization joins the association at the summer meeting, the dues will be $250.

Becoming an Affiliate Member

Affiliate members are organizations that are involved in the treatment, care or research of Plain community members. Affiliate members participate in PCHC events by invitation and are recognized on the PCHC website and also at the annual Translational Medicine Conference.

Dues: Affiliate organizations are required to pay an annual fee of $400 which will be due by January 31st of each year. If an organization joins the association at the summer meeting, the dues will be $200.
